Policies at Crystal Moon Lotus are not designed to be restrictive. They are designed to protect the frequency of our space. By honoring these boundaries, you are helping to maintain the high-integrity, low-static environment that allows for deep regulation and resonance.

As Crystal Moon Lotus evolves, these policies may be updated to better serve our community. Clients will be notified of any significant changes to the policies via our monthly newsletter and updates will be posted to this page.

Practitioner Arrival and Client Readiness

To maintain the flow required for nervous system regulation, mobile sessions require punctuality from both practitioner and client. I will arrive 10–15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time to quietly bring in equipment and begin setting up.

Client Readiness: We ask that your designated space is cleared, devices are silenced, and you are ready to receive me at your door at the arrival time.

Delays & No-Shows: If you do not answer the door or are unready within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the session will be canceled and considered a No-Show, resulting in the forfeiture of the 100% session fee. If a delay on your part pushes the start time back but remains within the 15-minute window, your session will still conclude at the originally scheduled time so as not to disrupt subsequent clients' travel windows.

Note: If traffic or unforeseen logistical delays occur on my end, you will receive text notification immediately, and your full, unhurried session time will always be honored.

Cancellation

More than 24 Hours' Notice: If you cancel or reschedule your session with more than 24 hours' notice, you are eligible for a 50% refund of the total session fee, or you may apply the full credit toward a future booking within 90 days.
Less than 24 Hours' Notice: Cancellations made within the 24-hour window are non-refundable. 50% of the fee will be retained as a late-cancellation fee, and the remaining 50% may be applied as a one-time credit for a future session.
No-Shows: Failure to be ready for your session without prior notification will result in the forfeiture of the 100% session fee. Because your session time slot has been held for you, this fee covers the time and resources dedicated to your visit.
Location Changes: If you need to change the address of your mobile session, you must do so at least 24 hours in advance. Requesting a location shift within 24 hours that exceeds our standard service radius will be treated as a late cancellation.

The Home Space and Environment

To create an authentic sanctuary, the client agrees to provide a clean, dedicated space roughly the size of a standard yoga mat for setup, along with a quiet environment for the duration of the session.
Pets: For the safety of the practitioner and the integrity of your session, all pets must be safely secured in a separate room before the practitioner arrives and must remain there until the session concludes.
Distractions: Please ensure other household members are aware of your session time to minimize foot traffic, loud noises, or interruptions.

Parking and Property Access

To facilitate a smooth setup of heavy and delicate sonic instruments, clients must provide clear instructions for parking and property access.
Parking: A legal parking space (driveway, designated visitor spot, or close street parking) must be available within close proximity to the entrance. Any parking fees or permits required must be disclosed and arranged by the client prior to arrival.
Access: Pathways, stairs, and entryways leading to the setup space must be safe, clear, and well-lit.

Health and Safety Boundaries

Scope of Practice:

Crystal Moon Lotus is a space dedicated to somatic regulation and energetic resonance. While I operate with clinical integrity based on my background as a surgical technologist, I am a wellness practitioner, not a licensed medical doctor, therapist, or psychiatrist. The services provided are complementary in nature and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition. My role is to facilitate the sensory conditions for your nervous system to return to a steady state, not to provide medical intervention.

Illness Policy:

To protect the Sanctuary and the health of our community, we maintain a strict illness policy. If you are experiencing active symptoms, including fever, cough, shortness of breath, or any communicable illness, you must reschedule your session. Entering a high-resonance environment while your body is fighting infection can be overstimulating for your system and creates a risk for other clients. Please contact Kristin as soon as symptoms arise to move your appointment to a time when you are fully recovered.

Household Illness:

Because I bring my equipment into your home and then into the homes of other sensitive clients, our strict illness policy applies to anyone residing in your household. If a family member or roommate living in the home is actively experiencing a fever, contagious illness, or severe cough, you must reschedule your session.

Contraindications & Safety Exclusions:

Because sound healing involves intense mechanical vibrations and deep cellular resonance, certain physiological conditions require a different approach to wellness. To ensure the absolute safety of all clients, I do not perform sound treatments on individuals who fall into the following categories:

Pacemakers or Implanted Medical Devices: High-frequency vibrations from crystal singing bowls can potentially interfere with the electronic signaling of these devices.
Pregnancy: Due to the high water content of the body and the intensity of acoustic vibrations during sound immersion, we do not offer these sessions during any stage of pregnancy.
Epilepsy: Certain sound frequencies and rhythmic acoustic patterns can be a trigger for those with sound-sensitive or photosensitive seizure disorders.

If you have any other underlying health concerns, such as recent surgeries or metal implants, I strongly encourage you to consult with your physician before booking a session to ensure that deep vibrational work is appropriate for your current recovery phase.

Parent Presence

To ensure a secure environment for our younger lotuses, a parent or legal guardian must remain physically on-premises for the entire duration of any session involving a minor under the age of 18.

Presence Required: You are required to stay in the treatment area/home.
Emergency Contact: Being on-site ensures that you are immediately available should your child need a bathroom break, physical assistance, or emotional support that falls outside the scope of the group regulation exercise.

Termination of Service

Crystal Moon Lotus reserves the right to immediately terminate a session and leave the client's premises at any time if the environment compromises the safety, physical integrity, or professional boundaries of the practitioner.

The Policy:

Service will be terminated immediately without refund for any behavior involving verbal hostility, inappropriate conduct, aggressive pets, or environmental hazards within the home. If the environment becomes excessively loud or disruptive (uncontrolled remodeling, uncontained house guests, etc.) to the point where sonic regulation is impossible, the session may be ended early at the practitioner's discretion.

Refunds: In the event of a forced termination due to behavioral disruption or safety concerns, no refund will be issued. This ensures that the time, space, and resonant environment held for the remaining participants are respected and that the professional standards of the studio remain unshakeable.

Confidentiality

In the Sanctuary of Crystal Moon Lotus, privacy is a fundamental component of safety. Whether we are in a 1:1 consultation or a Small-Group Lotus Circle, the topics shared within the room stays in the room. This covenant ensures that every participant can engage in deep somatic offloading without the fear of their personal history leaving the studio walls.

The Policy:

I maintain the highest standard of professional confidentiality. Any personal history, emotional processing, or specific life challenges shared during your intake or session are held in strict confidence. Your somatic data, including sensory triggers, sensitivities, and goals, is treated with the same clinical integrity as a medical record and is never shared, sold, or discussed outside of our professional relationship.

The Group Rule:

By entering a Lotus Circle, every participant enters into a mutual agreement to respect the privacy of their fellow lotuses. We operate under a Vow of Stillness regarding the experiences of others: What is whispered or released in the resonance of the bowls remains within the sanctuary. Protecting the stories of others is essential to maintaining the collective frequency of the group.

The Ethical Exception:

As a responsible practitioner, I am ethically and legally bound to break confidentiality only if there is a clear and immediate risk of harm to yourself or to others. In these rare instances, professional safety protocols will be followed to ensure the well-being of the individual and the community.

Media/Recording

To protect the privacy of all guests, photography, video, and audio recording are strictly prohibited inside the studio. Crystal Moon Lotus is an environment designed for deep immersion. We ask that you fully unplug to honor your own regulation and the privacy of those sharing the space with you.

The Policy:

Zero-Recording Zone: From the moment you cross the threshold into the studio, all cameras and recording equipment must be stowed.
Marketing Consent: I maintain a high-integrity approach to digital presence. I will never share your testimonial, photo, or likeness on social media or marketing materials without your express, written consent. On occasions where a group photo may be taken for community-building purposes, I adhere to a strict privacy protocol. Explicit permission will be verified from every individual in the frame before any image is posted.

I take your privacy seriously. I only collect the information necessary to provide you with services, such as your name, contact details, address, and any preferences or goals you share in your intake forms.

2. How I Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

Schedule and manage your sessions.
Customize your experience based on your preferences.
Process payments and donations for the sponsorship program.
Track the number of sessions completed to fund the scholarship pool.

3. Confidentiality

I do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing. If you are a scholarship recipient, your status is strictly confidential and will never be shared with other clients or the public. If you are a donor, your updates are kept anonymous to protect everyone’s privacy.

4. Security

I use secure, encrypted third-party services to handle payments. I do my best to keep your digital information as safe as possible.

Terms of Use

1. Service Disclaimer

Crystal Moon Lotus provides relaxation and wellness services through sound, crystals, and aromatherapy.

Not Medical Advice: I am a wellness practitioner, not a doctor or a therapist. These sessions are for relaxation and stress management and are not a substitute for professional medical or mental health treatment.
Personal Responsibility: You should consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new wellness practice if you have underlying health concerns.

2. The Scholarship & Sponsorship Program

Donations: Sponsorship donations are non-refundable and are used solely to fund sessions for those in need.
Eligibility: Applying for a scholarship does not guarantee a session. Selections are made monthly based on availability and the information provided in your form.
Privacy: Donors are not entitled to know the identity of the people receiving sponsored sessions.

3. Cancellations and Conduct

Cancellation Policy: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Studio Environment: I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is disruptive or disrespectful to the studio environment or other clients.
